Ben Rask President

I am excited to continue to be a part of this amazing program. I have 4 kids that have all been involved in either LJZ football or cheer. My two oldest started at the youngest levels and now graduating high school with my youngest still in the cheer program.  Ive been living in Lincoln since 1992, and involved with the Jr. Zebras either coaching or on the board for the past several years. Watching the excitement all the kids have, the bonding and friendships that develop among the players that carry on into high school, is truly fun to witness. Each year brings new challenges and opportunities and I am honored to share in all this new year brings!

Erin Lewis  Vice President

Hi! My name is Erin Lewis. This will be our third year having the pleasure to be apart of the Lincoln Jr Zebras. I have 2 boys that play football, and my youngest daughter will start cheer this year as a Mascot. My oldest daughter will be a senior at Lincoln High School. This program has been amazing for my family. The kids have made lifelong friends and have been taught great things to prepare them for high school football. We are super excited to start the new season.

Alison Kowalczyk Treasurer

Being the one running on the field growing up, to being the one on the sideline has been an amazing transition for me. My son played his first year on the jr zebras last year, and I knew I had to get involved. Being able to gap that bridge for parents and board members was so important to me, helping everyone with the ease of football/cheer life. Signing my son up for football was so hard, paying for him to get tackled? But the moment he went out there, scored his first touchdown, watched the coach throw him up in the air, and then him being pulled aside after the season to be told he was his most improved…worth every penny!! That moment I knew that Lincoln Jr Zebras was the home we wanted to be apart of. I hope every player gets their moment, and I want to help any parent achieve that for them. Go Zebras!

Liz Rogers - Secretary

In 1985, my family relocated to Lincoln, where I attended Carlin C. Coppin, Glen Edwards Middle School, and graduated from Lincoln High School with a 4.0 GPA in 1998. Now married with three children and three grandchildren, our family shares a strong Zebra Pride. My daughter and various relatives are Lincoln High School graduates. My son dedicated 7 years to LJZ football, while my youngest daughter is entering her 6th year in cheer. Additionally, my oldest grandson is heading into his 3rd year of football, and my granddaughter is starting her 2nd year in cheer. The LJZ community's support has inspired me to give back by joining the board, connecting with incredible individuals. The enduring love and encouragement from Zebra alumni truly make it a powerful force. Here's to anticipating what 2024 holds and embracing my 6th year on the board! Once a Zebra, always a Zebra!

Amber Williams - Cheer Director

I'm so happy I have the opportunity to be apart of LJZ the most amazing program ever! This is my second year with the program. My first year I spent as a cheer coach for the Mascots and now I am the cheer director. My passion is working with youth and it is an absolute joy volunteering my time with the board and all the amazing cheer and football players. Aside from volunteering for LJZ youth football and cheer, I work as an assistant Preschool Director here in Lincoln. I'm excited to see all the amazing memories these Cheerleaders and Football players make this 2024 season! Go Zebras!

I am thrilled to embark on my second year as the Director of Public Information for this Board! Our family has been deeply involved in this program for over a decade—participating in football, cheer, serving as board members, and coaching. I am a proud mother of three amazing children. My oldest is gearing up for his third season on the football field with the Lincoln Jr. Zebras. A true Lincolnite, born and raised, I have lived in Lincoln my entire life and graduated from Lincoln High School in 2014. Beyond my commitment to the Board, I contribute to the State of California workforce, and my husband proudly serves in the US Military. Being able to actively engage in our community is a true blessing, and I am genuinely enthusiastic about the upcoming season! And, as always, remember: It's a fantastic day to be a Zebra!

I am honored and eager for another fun season with the Lincoln Jr. Zebra’s. Our family has lived in the community for 15+ years and really value and appreciate the community. Our children have been part of the LJZ program since 2021 and have really enjoyed being part of it. I’m here to continue to support and collaborate in the LJZ program as it’s an awesome program for our youth to join and grow. Ashley GilbertsonParent Volunteer Coordinator

I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the LJZ family since 2020, when my oldest son started his Pee-Wee football journey, then his younger brother wrapped up his first season in 2023!  There are no words to express how valuable this experience has been for my boys, so I felt it necessary to support the organization in any way that I can.  As the Parent Volunteer Coordinator, I can commit to regular communication and to be there for all of the parents who take time out of their busy lives to make sure our young athletes can continue to thrive and make memories that will last a lifetime.
